We arrange with a local lights company to install and take down the lights.

There are 20 lights in total, with 19 in Sittingbourne High Street and 1 in the adjoining Central Avenue.

Our lights are fitted with remote controls so that they can be switched on all at the same time from a single controller.

The lights are so-called "garland lights" which actually wrap around the streetlight columns rather than hanging out from this. The reason for using garland lights is that they do not require us to pay for load testing of the streetlight columns which would otherwise incur a large cost every 3 years.
